Eternity Wing And A Pray

Contemporary paranormal angel fantasy, crime, action & adventure with romance

About

Angel forsakes paradise, fighting a drug war, risking a mortal love.

Recklessness/Divine Law: "My Father forbids interference. But watching this world decay is its own damnation. I break every celestial law, embrace my human fury, and turn disability into my hidden weapon. I will not fail twice."

Moral Question: "If an angel can love a mortal, is the love a gift or a fatal curse? The pure path is cold; my heart craves the warmth of her ruin. Does Redemption even exist for a creature of forever?"

The Overlooked: "They scoff at the blind man, the wheelchair-bound genius. Fine. Let the powerful underestimate God’s most broken tools. We are the 'unseen army,' and our vengeance will be swift and unforeseen."

Past Haunting: "Five billion years is merely a blink, yet the failure is fresh. I walk among mortals, cloaked, remembering the shame. Now, an alien threat appears. I will tear Heaven apart before I lose Earth again."

Desperation: "Time is a cage. This mission, this life, is my last prayer. If my wings can’t carry me, I will drag myself through the shadows. Tell me, human: What is salvation worth to you?"

A Former Angel on a Secret Mission: The protagonist, Gavreel (Gabriel), is an angel created to prevent war and conflict on Earth, but failed his initial mission five billion years ago and was disallowed to return to Heaven. He now lives on Earth and is recruited by a powerful, unknown organization (IMLF).

Disabled Heroes Fight a Global Drug Cartel: His new team, tasked with fighting the world's largest drug operation, is intentionally comprised of highly intelligent and gifted individuals who have disabilities, making them the unexpected and unseen saviours of the day.

Conflict Between Eternal Duty and Mortal Love: He struggles to reconcile his true immortal identity and eternal task with his newfound mortal life and the romantic love he discovers, creating a high-stakes internal conflict.

Readers of Leon M. A. Edwards's Eternity Wing And A Pray will receive an experience that is a unique blend of paranormal fantasy, high-stakes thriller, action, and a grounded message of self-worth and purpose.

First and foremost, you will get an action-packed, high-concept thriller. The core plot plunges the reader into a secret, global conflict where an ancient angel, Gabriel (Gavreel), now on Earth, is tasked with dismantling the world's most powerful drug cartel. The narrative is defined by this exciting, explosive premise, offering high-speed chases, espionage, and crime-fighting on a monumental scale. The stakes are instantly elevated because the fight is not just for justice, but for the soul of humanity.

Secondly, the book delivers a profound and inspiring message about identity, disability, and value. A key and intriguing element is the composition of Gavreel's elite crime-fighting team. The author intentionally creates a team of highly intelligent, gifted individuals who all have different disabilities. This creative choice serves a powerful message: that people who are often marginalized are, in fact, the world’s best hope. Readers will be drawn to a story that champions the idea that true strength and capability are not defined by physical appearance but by inner genius and purpose.

Finally, readers are invited into a deep exploration of spiritual and emotional conflict. The protagonist, Gavreel, is an immortal angel who must grapple with very human problems, including his fear of failure, new-found love, and his place in the world after a five-billion-year-old mission failed. This adds layers of contemporary romance and profound existential questions to the thriller genre. You will be invested in his personal journey to accept his past, fulfill his destiny, and determine if eternal duty can coexist with mortal love.

In essence, Eternity Wing And A Pray promises a fast-paced, engrossing adventure while simultaneously delivering an emotional and important theme: that even the most overlooked individuals can become the greatest heroes.

Praise for this book

Leon M A Edwards crafts a mythic tapestry with Eternity Wing and a Pray, merging celestial fantasy with high, octane modern action. The prose oscillates between poetic and punchy, creating a unique rhythm. The angel’s mission, searching for his fallen counterpart offers more than a narrative arc it becomes an allegory for spiritual redemption and moral awakening. The interweaving of divine power and human vice provides deep symbolic tension that rewards close reading.

This book struck me as a modern day Paradise Lost meets The Book of Revelation. The angelic protagonist serves not just as a character but as a representation of God’s grace at work in a fallen world. His pursuit of a fallen comrade parallels Christ’s mission to redeem the lost. Edwards doesn't shy away from hard questions about faith, purpose, and obedience, and while the setting is contemporary and stylized, the spiritual message remains timeless.

Edwards uses celestial characters to confront existential quandaries. The angel's journey isn't just physical, it’s metaphysical. What does it mean to fall, Can redemption exist beyond time and space. What role does free will play in predestination, The novel is peppered with these queries, subtly embedded in dialogue and internal monologue. This is a book that wears its wings but asks weighty, grounded questions.

Forget slow burn, this book ignites from page one. Eternity Wing and a Pray races like a Shelby GT500 on nitro. Think Fast & Furious meets Constantine. The jet propulsion, the supernatural warfare, the criminal underground, it’s an adrenaline rush dressed in wings and divine light. Perfect for readers who like their theology with a shot of rocket fuel.

Though not marketed specifically as YA, Eternity will resonate with teen readers who enjoy tales of identity, destiny, and inner conflict. The angel's self discovery parallels the coming of age experience, especially in how he confronts loyalty, loss, and courage. The fusion of sci-fi and the divine feels fresh, almost like a celestial superhero origin story.

Eternity, Wing and a Pray transcends traditional angelic fiction. Edwards fuses Christian symbolism with techno, mysticism, daring to ask what grace looks like in a high speed chase. The protagonist's divine mission reflects themes of free will, fall from grace, and salvation. A compelling exploration of faith in futuristic form.

I approached this cautiously, but Eternity doesn’t disrespect scripture, it expands it artistically. The angel’s struggles echo biblical themes without mimicking them. It encourages readers to consider how divine missions might manifest today.

Eternity would spark fascinating conversation. Is the angel symbolic, Is the fallen comrade a metaphor for mankind. What does redemption cost, This novel’s perfect for club discussion. Not to mention, it reads fast but lingers long.

This book thrives where faith meets physics. Edwards invents a hybrid world where jet propulsion and angelic missions coexist naturally. The science is light but imaginative, think divine quantum mechanics. For sci-fi lovers craving metaphysical intrigue, this is manna.

A super jet capable of light travel, Check. Interdimensional tech meets spirit battles, Double check. Edwards introduces a unique blend of sci-fi and celestial mythos. It's like Blade Runner met Paradise Lost.

I enjoyed the book all the way through. Sometimes Gabe acted like a mixed up guy. But as goes with the Firm and has Sara he changed into a good leader. It's sad that he lost his love. Will there be another book?
